How To Post a Job on goLance (Revised)

In this step-by-step guide, goLance will show you how easy it is to post a job.

The video below shows detailed instructions, and this post will supplement the video with screenshots for every step.

Once you have logged onto goLance, click on the "POST JOB" button.

A window will display, outlining the steps for the process of posting a job.

Begin by filling out the name of the position you are offering, selecting the catgeory the position should be listed in, and then selecing whether if it is hourly or has a budget. If hourly, select the amount of hours per week you expect the position to be for. If it has a budget, ensure to include your estimated budget.


Next, enter a description of the job. The more detailed you are, the more likely you will be able to find the right freelancer that fits the position you are offering. When you are finished, click "NEXT."

On the next page, you will need to enter details about the position in which you are posting.
Make sure to:

• Click the "Desired Experience Level"
• Click the "Job Duration"
• Answer "How Many Freelancers Do You Need?"
• Select "Where Are You in the Lifecycle of This Job?"
• Check the appropriate boxes relating to whether you would like to work with individuals and/or agencies, if you want to allow manual time, and if this is a private post.
  

Attach any documents to the position, and then click "NEXT" to continue to the next step.

On the next screen, you will need to fill out the qualifications for your job post. Search and select "Required Skills," specifiy "Minimum Feedback Score," "Hours Billed," and "Location."When you are finished, click "NEXT."

Now you need to ask your interview questions for freelancers. You can utilize the samples provided by goLance, or create your own questions. When you have finished adding questions, click "NEXT."

You will now be on the final page of the job posting process. Review your job posting, check for spelling errors, and ensure everything is properly filled out. When you are finished, click "SUBMIT."

Congratulations! You now have a job posted on goLance. Sit back, relax, and wait for the proposals to come in.
